What to Pack for Vacations to Hawaii
When you go on vacation to somewhere tropical and exciting like Hawaii, you should think about all the important items you need to pack. Hawaii vacations are fun for everyone and thinking carefully about what you need to take with you will make a huge difference to your vacation time. Here are some ideas.
Clothing: When you pack for your vacation in Hawaii you’ll need to pack a few different items of clothing. Don’t just assume that it will be hot there all the time. Take a warm top and trousers as well just in case. You should also carry a rain jacket in case of a downpour. And, of course, don’t forget swimming gear and beach sandals.
Things to do: You might wonder why you need to take things to do when you are visiting a spectacular destination like Hawaii. Well, you might decide that you want to go to the beach and just laze around reading a book. You might also get stuck indoors with bad weather and want a game to play. Kids will definitely need some activities for long car rides or other times when they might be bored.
Camera: you don’t want to forget your camera on a vacation to Hawaii. Think of all these volcanoes and other attractions, and you will want a few family photographs to remind you of all the great times you had. Also take a few batteries or a charger, and make sure there is enough room on the memory card – or take a spare. Don’t lose your holiday!

Be sure to take your scuba or snorkeling equipment along with you. But if this is more than you want to carry with you to Hawaii, you can rent this equipment while there.
There will obviously be other things that people will need during their Hawaii vacations, and most people will make a list so that they are less liable to forget important items when packing. Insect repellant and a small first aid kit for example, and don’t forget your tickets and brochures, or your passport if you need one. Otherwise, just relax, enjoy the trip there and have a fabulous time in Hawaii. And don’t forget the toothbrush!
