Many research studies in the recent past have said that one vital factor in supporting good health is the introduction of healthy oxygen into the body.

This lets the diabetic gain the upper hand in determining what he needs to do in order to keep his blood glucose well within the targeted range, instead of letting diabetes take control of his body. The not so pleasant part of the ordeal begins when the diabetes strikes very young, or targets the elderly, where administering repeated injections is not only an unpleasant, but often even an unworkable solution. This makes diabetes management a lot more complex and a tremendously uphill task, where the individual begins to dread insulin instead of embracing it as the lifesaver that it is.

As the death toll claimed by diabetes increases with every passing day, researchers have begun to realize the urgency that the dilemma of having to use insulin, but not wanting to use it, creates and have focused their efforts at devising alternative means of administering insulin, which are easy and convenient to use, while also bringing about the desired level of glucose control. Of the many theories that have been developed and tested and approved by diabetes experts, inhaled insulin is a forerunner, having gained as much popularity amongst its users as with the medical fraternity.

A great way to start this is to get into the habit of drinking water instead of other drinks which supply calories. By the end of the week consuming one soft drink adds up to almost 1,000 calories. If you drank water instead then that would be you losing about 1,000 calories by the end of the week. The change loses you a pound in under a month from just switching to water.
