The Atkins Grapefruit diet seeks to cash in on the popularity of the fad grapefruit diet and the less fad but still fad Atkins diet, although it has nothing to do with the Atkins estate or company. A closer look into this diet shows that it may not be all it claims to be.
You’ll be hard pressed to find information about the Atkins Grapefruit diet, such as any details of the company that produces it. Smart people know that when someone is perpetrating a deception, or a con, they will often gloss over facts. This is what the Atkins grapefruit diet seems to do in an attempt to get people to associate it with two supposedly effective diets.
Is the Atkins Grapefruit Diet part of the Atkins Diet or endorsed by the estate of the late Dr. Atkins? The answer is no, not only is there no mention of the Atkins Grapefruit Diet on the Atkins web site, but there is no fruit of any kind mentioned in the list of allowed foods in the Atkins diet Induction phase.

The cup of grapefruit juice offered by the Atkins Grapefruit diet has 8 grams of carbs while the cup of grapefruit sections it mentions has 18 carbs. Even the phases of Atkins that allow grapefruit limit intake to below 8 grams of carbs of grapefruit per day. That’s a severe disagreement.
When they hear about the Atkins grapefruit diet people should naturally visit the Atkins web site to read more about it. It isn’t found there, and that turns off a lot of folks.
Truth about diets review: Keep this in mind. Any diet that relies too heavily on one food or food group is going to be unhealthy. The Atkins diet frowns on eating the way the Atkins Grapefruit Diet recommends.

Given the significant distances that ancient armies marched across the Mediterranean it is no surprise that archeologists have found Spartan Helmets in a number of modern day countries. The first Roman helmet was found almost by accident, in 2003, when a group of amateur archaeologists were exploring with a metal detector!
In Israel, for example, a 6th or 5th century BC Spartan Helmet was found during a routine dredging of the Haifa harbor. Despite being in the water for an untold number of years, the Spartan Helmet was in amazing shape.
A less complete Spartan Helmet was found by archeologist digging in Crete. During the dig a Spartan Helmet fragment believed to date from the 6th century BC was unearthed. Given that the fragment was covered with extensive engraving, it is thought to have belonged to a more senior military member.
Also, two Spartan Helmets were found off the coast of Northern Greece during the search for a Persian Armada that sank in stormy weather before reaching its target in the early 5th century BC.
And, in a comprehensive search and find in Athens, graves of 20 warriors were found, who were all buried with their Spartan Helmet, iron swords and knives.
Given the that the empire of Alexander the Great, at its largest, stretched to include wide swathes of the Middle east and Central Asia, it is not outside of the realm of possibly to expect the eventual discovery of Spartan Helmets, found here, from as far away as modern day Afghanistan and Iraq.
