Acai – A True Brazillian Super Food

Posted by Thinker on Dec 20, 2008 in Thinkable

Acai is a 100% Pure, fruit fruit abundant with energy. Acai Powder is natural superfood and antioxidant that is grown in the Brazilian Amazon basin. Many describe the taste of Acai Juice as combining berries with a chocolate flavour.

The Acai fruit itself consists of a dark purple pigment which gives it a rich, lush appearance. It is this deep pigment which contains all the nutrition that has made the acai berry such a truly wonderful thing and one of Brazils biggest exports.

Such is acai’s nutritional quality that for centuries the berries have been harvested by locals of the Amazon basin and form the staple food in the diet of many of its communities, taking the place of bread, milk and rice.

Abundant with antioxidants, essential omega fatty acids and amino acids, you can be confident that Acai Extract maintains your mind and your body.

Once the acai fruit has been harvested it begins to degrade very quickly. This is the primary reason it is possible to source so many types of acai juice, acai preserves and other acai products but not the actual acai berries. Products made from the fresh acai pulp can be readily transported much easier than the fresh acai berry!

Acai Powder usually contains most of the acai berry’s goodness than a lot of the acai berry products, partly because almost the whole berry is used in the production of the acai berries product.

Acai products dried using the freeze drying process retain all the nutritional properties of acai as it reduces the pulp into a very fine powder at extermely low temperatures. Unlike Acai extracts, freeze dried Acai Powder completely encapsulates the powerful nutritional benefits located in acai and is completely natural with no bulking ingredients.

Ever Heard Of Justin Roper Boots?

Posted by Thinker on Dec 20, 2008 in Thinkable

You are probably not alone if you haven’t heard of a particular brand of boots known as Justin Boots.  But these boots are made in Texas right here in the good old USA and are gaining popularity.  It helped that investor extraordinaire Warren Buffet bought the company just a few short years ago.

And whatever Warren Buffet invests in something, it is instantly in the media spotlight.  Actually, the company isn’t doing well just because of Warren, but because they make a quality product at a great price.

Justin Boots are known worldwide for their line of cowboy boots, but they’ve expanded their boot line to include roper boots and Justin work boots.  If you wear work boots for your job every day like I do, you can appreciate a good boot.  One that’s well made will last for a number of years.  The pair that I currently own, I’ve been wearing on the job for ten years now.

If you’re not familiar with Justin roper boots, chances are you are not from the South.   Roper boots are really a cross between work boots and cowboy boots.  They have the look of cowboy boots, but not as fancy, and the durability of work boots.  They are usually worn by ranchers and rodeo people.

With most boot manufacturers transferring their businesses overseas to cut costs, it’s nice to know that Justin Boots remains firm in the United States and takes great pride in their manufacturing processes.   Plus, who wouldn’t want their Justin cowboy boots made anywhere but in Texas, right?
